Dr. Tom Spicer
|
|
Dr. Tom Spicer holds a Doctorate degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota and also holds a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Mankato State University.
In previous career's, Dr. Tom worked extensively with numerous hearing aid manufacturers and at one time, owned and operated his own Martial Arts school in Burnsville, Minnesota.
As a contributing member to the health and wellness of the Shakopee community, Dr. Tom is
- An Adjunct Instructor at the Minnesota School of Business teaching Anatomy and Physiology.
- Past Chairman of the City of Shakopee Economic Advisory Board
- A teacher of numerous ongoing classes through Shakopee Community Education. Recent classes include "How to lower your Blood Pressure through Natural means", "How to Reduce your Back and Neck Pain", "Shock Scream and Run, Women's self-defense", and Adult and Seniors "Tai Chi", "Healthy Bones - How to avoid Osteoporosis Naturally" "Detoxify your body while losing Weight Healthily".
- Member of the Scott County Medical Reserve Corps team dedicated to assist local fire, police, and medical personell in the event of a man-made or natural disaster.
With the faces of healthcare rapidly changing and new information becoming available on a daily basis, Dr. Tom believes that constant continuing education is the only way to keep his skills and mind sharp. Currently, Dr. Tom is board certified in Acupunture as an additional tool to help his patients achieve wellness holistically.

Jennifer Friesen

Jennifer is a graduate of the Minnesota School of Business Massage Therapy program right here in Shakopee. When she is not driving her kids to sporting events, Jennifer follows her passion of giving exceptional massages to her clients.
Jennifer excels in treating those with:

As a Wife and Mother of sports enthusiasts, she knows first hand that massage has been and continues to be beneficial to athletes. She has also spent many years working with clients with physical and mental disabilities in addition to providing outstanding services to those who need to reduce stress and relax. She has proven to be an on-going asset to Spicer Wellness Center by increasing the range of motion, reducing muscle tension and promoting relaxation for her patients through the science of massage.

Jennifer Connelly is our Office Manager. Jen greets our valued patients and clients and handles the scheduling, billing and insurance questions that you might have in coming to our office.
Jen will be persuing a degree in Medical field in the very near future. Jen helps keep the flow moving in the office and quickly adapts her knowledge and organizational skills to the orderly progress of our valued patients.

Jay Maasch

Jay Maasch is a graduate of the Meta Institute. He is trained in multiple different personal growth strategies. Jay rounds out the offerings at SWC by bringing his unique warm and humorous personality to our Wellness Center. I have personally experienced Jay's work and I can say that he gets at the core issues easily and facilitates growth and understanding far quicker than any other modality I have tried.
